About REFACTORR

At REFACTORR, our experience creating successful web sites and web strategies runs deep.

“Refactoring” is the process of clarifying and improving the design of something. While the term normally applies to restructuring code, we adapt this approach to “refactor” entire digital experiences. We improve content, design, tools and content management operations through an iterative, collaborative approach.

Our team has over 26 years of experience building web sites, web applications and web communication strategies for large organizations.

Scott Stocker, manager / director

Scott is a web strategist and developer with deep experience in content strategy, content operations, user experience, full-stack development and site implementation. He’s held leadership roles on large, complex web development projects.

For over 26 years, Scott worked at Stanford University and was responsible for strategic planning, design, development and operations for www.stanford.edu and other primary Stanford websites. He also engineered Stanford’s first central learning management system (LMS); led the university’s online accessibility program; developed policies and strategies for web communications; and led efforts to enhance Stanford’s overall web presence.

Scott loves to build things with WordPress, Laravel, PHP, Vue, Javascript, REST APIs, XML, Java and SQL.

He received his BA from Stanford and MA from Harvard.
